If missionary life is anything, it can always be characterized as an exercise in patience. The flow and pace of life in Guatemala can vary drastically compared to the everything-on-a-schedule style of life in the States.
Mail for instance, can arrive several months after the fact, but it is a welcome arrival just the same. As missionaries, these gifts from home, generate the same feeling as though they had arrived Christmas week. So in that sense, it is never “too late” to gratefully and joyfully receive them.
John 14:6 [Jesus explains], “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
There are some who, when they first hear this truth, believe right a way. While others hear this truth and pass through almost a lifetime before they believe on the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness and salvation. Still, at either end of the spectrum, including all the points in between, as long as you have breath, it’s never too late to believe.
