Plenty of smiles to go around this day. Traditionally in Guatemala, a graduation is a time to celebrate in grand style. The day will be served up with extra helpings of Pomp and Circumstance.

Students of the LWT/BI in Quetzaltenango assemble for one large commemorative photo that will mark this passing. In just about an hour, formal processions will take place as every graduate will piously enter a large auditorium and proceed to their designated place.

There will be welcomes, special recognition’s, and gifts given and received. Many of the resident and extension school groups will bring gifts to honor the Institute or favored teacher. A guest preacher will extend a message, encouragement, and exhortation, that is met with cheers and clapping.

Join us as we pray for each of these 584 graduates, that the enthusiasm of this day diminish not, but rather, intensify.
