Robin recognized nearly 15 years ago that work, survival, and family expectations, leave girls and women in rural communities with few options. We began to formulate ministry outreaches that would teach practical sewing skills while touching hearts and minds and opening the door to the Gospel of salvation. Often these classes serve as an outlet (valuable me time) for the marginalized Mayen youth in the western highlands of Guatemala. Once basic skills are “sown,” confidence and creativity begin to bloom.
“We Give Wings to Good Works” defines but one of the missions of SGSP Aviation Ministries. Reaching out with the compassion and love of Jesus Christ can happen in many ways.

Reach out to us at talk2us@sgsp-aviaiton.org Machines and supplies are available in Guatemala, we will explain how tax-deductible donations from Church’s, organizations, individuals or groups, can keep these outreaches supplied and equipped. We are looking to add 8 machines in 2021. Four will be for training and four (one per class) will be awarded to the most skilled student.
These machines are readily available in Guatemala and are the workhorse of the Robin’s sewing outreach classes. We invite you to sponsor one or more of these machines, partner with us as an individual or with a group of your friends. The price in Guatemala is Q1,519.93 (Approx. $200.00 USD/unit). Mail donation to SGSP Aviation Ministries, PO BOX 1252, Sierra Vista, AZ 85636. On the memo line of your check designate: Sewing Outreach
